ACS LAW send out Phishing Questionnaires UPDATED

Acs Law continue its War of attrition against the British Public and their latest round of “Speculative Invoices” seems to contain a rather Sinister Questionnaire.  Please take a look and let me know what you think.

I believe myself they are terribly unprofessional forms, starting with either a “5” or a “15” in place of  “1”.  It also seems that ACS LAW want to persue or at least ask wether the person would be willing to allow their PC to be inpected by forensic analysis.  Very Interesting

Of course what these forms REALY mean is that ACS LAW dont have enough information and believe you to be stupid enough to supply them the information with which to attack you again

Beingthreatened have produced an additional chapter to their EXCELLENT “Speculative Invoicing” Booklet please see here http://bit.ly/bonusquestio

Also had an EXCELLENT Spoof Questionnaire sent to me from ACS:FLAW Please see it here  Fishing Questionnaire

About Hickster

I am one of the many innocent people who have been accused of file sharing by Copyright Trolls, my letter came from the now infamous ACS:LAW, but they have now been emulated by many more using the same system. Their ruse is simple, Send out letters of claim with NO Real evidence beyond an IP address that they claim was captured using a frowned upon hack of Shareaza. My REAL opinion of these companies turned when they started sending out Pornography claims, THAT is what I find most disturbing. People who HAVE to pay up without the option of having their day in Court. THAT is NOT Justice. Why can't they just go to Court? because the Lawyers, pitch the price of paying the "Compensation" at about the same rate as hiring a lawyer to fight it. Things have changed in the last 8 years though. I would advise people to read the "Speculative Invoicing Handbook Part 2", research these people yourselves, and find me at Slyck Forums, or on Twitter. Do NOT Worry, Stand Strong

I believe the appropriate response to all of these questions can be surmised by a reference to Arkell v. Pressdram.

  2. Yes John I agree. I have now set the comments to Post without approaval, I think we are all adults here right? Sorry about the delay

  3. Netizen Kane says:

I have recently received this questionaire along with the 7 day deadline to fill it.

quite laudable IMHO – obviously when I requested thier evidence against me in writting, I didin’t realize it was going to be based on a questionaire.

for those new to this please see here http://beingthreatened.yolasite.com/

  4. LOL that is funny Netizen, I agree Beingthreatened is the best First port of Call for anyone accused, just dont tell them I sent you lol

What I find funny though is that you seem to assume that ACS have ANY evidence on you, of course they dont, you fully understand that they are asking you for evidence. The Bastards!
